Not too long ago I came across the Flash Video Gallery project on Adobe’s site, and although it was extremely cool, it was overkill for what I needed at the time. Well not anymore. I needed a way to put my video examples online in one central place and still have enough control over them, yet not have to burden myself with writing lots of code or re-publish something multiple times in order to update the samples.
So I took the base design and added a text area for myself to add information in, swapped out some graphics and this is what I have going on right now.
It’s nothing special at all – it still looks like the examples, but I plan on dressing it up a little bit, maybe add in some password protected videos, add back in the filtering so that users can filter the projects by type, and of course, make the video display a lot bigger.
